A Basket Case

I don't know what's going on, but it has me worried. I'm so worried I've become a bit of a basket case. Mom has been busy preparing SOMETHING, but I can't figure out WHAT!! And it's making me crazy because I am the cat who NEEDS TO KNOW EVERYTHING! I might act nonchalant and all and it might seem that I don't care about things going on, but that just isn't true. I'm very attentive to things, but I just PRETEND to not notice. But Mom's been doing odd things lately and somehow, I feel that our world is going to change very soon. Lautrec talks about D-Day...hmmmm...he says D-Day is Saturday...hmmmmm....what is the D in D-Day.....hmmmm...

NO! No, no, no, no, no!!! Don't tell me that D stands for what I think it stands for!!! OMC!!! No way. Mom wouldn't do THAT to Lautrec and me. No. I'm not going to believe these nasty rumours. Nope. I'm just going to crawl down into the bottom of this basket and hide and sleep...maybe when I wake up someone will tell me that D-Day was just some element in a dream. Yeah, that's all it is...I'm dreaming and D-Day is not really going to happen...right?

Tiny I fear you may have figured out what is about to happen....but sweet girl never fear your Mom loves you both very much and we are positive she has all her Ducks in a row...(D day does not stand for ducks either) MOL.

Your Mom is getting a DUCK? I think "D" stands for "Dinner"!

We love baskets at our house...our Teri buys us ones from IKEA and she puts our toys in them.

Now a basket case? Cuz of D-Day? You have us hoping it's not Dr Day but would that be worse than Dog Day?

Best of luck with the mystery!

D-day...um, speaking as a cat-in-the-know on these sorts of things...I know that it's not:

1. Daffodils
2. Dinner
3. Dangly toys
4. Dirty socks (oh that makes me swoon!)
5. Dancing mousies

Oh know what is D-Day - there are so many things that start with D that it could be - Dog, Dance, Duck - it could mean anything. Hopefully it won't be too bad, no matter what it stands for!
