We're BAAAAAAACCCCKKKK!!

Hi Everyone!!! We're back!! We MISSED YOU!!
Mom's computer died after my first and only Princess Ginger post which explains our long absence...sorry!!

Here are some photos to update you on how we have been....
Ellwood and I snuggling in this REALLY COLD WEATHER!!

 I love my big brother!!

Then, there was the trepidation before the operation
(wow!! did I just make a rhyme?)
which was last Wednesday, 8 February...

 ...not knowing what to expect...

...not knowing that my tummy would look like this RIGHT NOW...

....but enjoying recovery time with the Wood...
(and the copious doses of chicken I am getting!)

...and loving it when Mom comes to offer us kisses (or more chicken!)!!
(Yes, I am wearing a 'sweater' which is really the old sleeve of one of Dad's old sweaters...Mom cut holes in it for my front paws..it covers my tummy so I can't lick it...I so wanna lick that icky stuff off of it!!)

Speaking of Mom, she has been busy making things for her Etsy shop.

Things like birds...free-standing birds

 ...or are they free-sitting?...

.... hanging birds...

...bird necklaces...

and cats...and mice...

...and cats...

 ...and more cats...

 ...curious cats...

 ...coy cats...

...Ginger cats...

...and they all resemble the one cat that is no longer with us....Lolo...Mom still misses him terribly....we try to make her smile and we think it is working a bit, but I know...I KNOW... that Mom still cries herself to sleep each night thinking about her Lolo....

Glad to see you are back. We've missed you.

Good to know that all of you are feeling better.

All kinds of things take time to heal. Some take longer than others.

Hi Ginger we are so glad to read your
ladyetomy went well and is over. How clever of your mom to fit you with a sweater to protect your stitches much better than the dreaded surgical cone.

Please ask mom what medium she uses for her precious Esty items. They are lovely,
Hugs Madi and Mom

Oh sweet puppies!!!! You look so precious spooning together. Our hearts are still breaking for you. Mom totally understands how hard it is as they cried and cried for months after our guardian angel Maggie passed away from cancer. It just takes time. Soft purrs to you.

Mom said to meow that she loved the card.

Hello sweetie! Your poor tummy looks sore, we'd want to lick it too...we are so happy to hear from you again. Tell your Mom that we received you beautiful card and Mommy wishes her handwriting was half as nice as your Mom's. Snuggle with her, and give her some luvvins from us. We hope Tiny is doing OK...

We love you guys ~ we undertand why your mom still cries. The pain you feel on loss is always equal to the love you felt ~ that's why our mom still cries for her beloved lilac point siamese Henry (1985 - 2004).

Cute pictures, I have always cut a 'Winter' coat out of old wool sweaters for our dog, Schatzie. She loves it!
Please tell your mother, The cats and birds are so lovely, beautiful heartfelt work!
