It's Thursday and like our friend Jonesie, we like to spend time in the garden (for more info on the Society of Feline Gardeners, please visit Cory Cat Blog) ...well, there aren't too many gardening days left now we think...we were, however, enjoying a nice, sunny day near the grapevines the other day...the grapes are nearly ripe, but because we had such a soggy summer they didn't get enough sun to turn nice and sweet and seem to be a bit on the sour side. Too bad, but they are pretty. Dad decided to dry them...maybe they will be tasty like that!
Over on the buddlaia bush on that warm day there were tons of butterflies getting drunk on the pretty flowers...they were so drunk that some of them even let Mom pick them up!! Aren't they pretty?
This time of the year the 'fusain' tree is blooming...it's pretty fushia pink and bright orange flowers are really cool. Nature sure knows how to make a great show!
The grass was super long in our upper garden so Tiny and I were playing hide-and-seek there...since then Dad cut the grass..he's just no fun. So what if there are ticks hiding out in the grass!!

What a fabulous gardening post, you two! And look at that butterfly (or moth?)! Incredible!
It's cool here now, highs of around 12C to 14C, and we've had frost a few times. Too chilly now for anything interesting in our garden!
You sure gave a great garden tour! Hey, don't mess with those ticks, they are totally bad news!
The two of you look very cute sitting out there on the patio. It is nice to enjoy the sunny days while you can! And oh it is too bad the grapes aren't sweet - our mom thinks they sound kinda tasty a bit sour though (she is weird). And that is so cool that you have drunk butterflies your mom can pick up!
Oh yes, those butterflies sure look pretty... pretty tasty! If I had been there, I would have had a few as a snack.
Uh, is that bad?
Those butterflies are so beautiful! I especially like the pink and orange flowers, I've never seen a tree bloom like that before :-)
What a colorful post! and so peaceful.. I like the last picture, the two kitties are so cute among the green!
