The Boss is ME!!

WARNING: DO NOT be suckered by that 'CUTE' photo (ha!) of him sleeping.
The little guy is a serious nut case!!

NO, feline friends, don't worry, I haven't given up my position as boss in this house, I'm just checking the new guy - Ellwood - out. And believe you me, I have told him several times that I AM THE BOSS and that he better back off or I just might lay my paw on that cute little face of his. He looks all sweet and stands there and looks at me, then 'PAFF' he jumps towards me with his razor sharp little teeth and it surprises me so I do what any of us proud felines would do...I HISS VERY LOUD while swinging my right and giving him a very menacing grumble growl. Does he think I'm joking? Does he not hear me? I tell him 'beware the paw' and he laughs back 'beware the baby teeth!' Oh, this is going to be fun. Oh, BTW, Tiny gave him a quick spot-on swipe first thing so he doesn't even bother with her...she told him who the boss is. When is he going to BELIEVE ME? I don't like to admit it (or at least not in a out-loud voice), but it just might be possible that I could eventually be friends with this guy...please don't hate me.

Welcome to the Blogosphere, Ellwood!

We won't hate you if you decide you can be friends with him, Lautrec. We kinda think it would be nice if you were--he's a member of the family now, after all. And you're mancat enough to accept him. We hope. :-)

Oh goodness! A little woofie. Meowm squealed, but we aren't too sure about this. We hope you all learn to get along well.

Hey, I understand it happens all the time. Before I got here there used to be two doggies and two kitties, and they were all friends!

Oh noes...a lil pisser! We think he needs two kitties to train him to be a good mandog...good luck and be wary...

What the? So that's why Grete and Oliver are "high fiving" each other with their dirty doggie paws!

I'm concerned it's a secret plot for woofies to invade the Society of Feline Gardeners. I've meowed about this with Jonesie, but she's not too concerned.

Holy Cod! We are with Tiny...one swipe of respect and DONE.

Although Ellwood might be pretty good to scare off the bully neighborCat.

I think it is okay to become friends with little Ellwood... once he stops acting so wild and crazy!

OMC and OMP (oh my puppy),
Ellwood is absolutely adorable....Lautrec I would not blame you at all for falling head over heels for him. It appears you are very curious and eager to meet and mingle.

We look forward to lots of pictures of Ellwood growing up.

So there he is then, Lolo? We think you are quite right in keeping your options open.

As long as you let him know who is boss, Lautrec, an amicable relationship is certainly permissible.
