Yes, I KNOW it's Thursday and I KNOW I should be gardening (since Lautrec and I are members of the SOFG* and all), but I'm kinda not in the mood right now and I figured, 'hey, I'm an older gal, I deserve to take a rest when I want to'...so here I am taking a rest. Besides, Lautrec can do some work in the garden - for once - instead of just walking around PRETENDING to work (Yeah, yeah, I've caught on to you big boy). 
But I'm not resting very long when something lands next to me...hmmm, it's a feather! So I sniff it...
...then I eat it...well, not really, I just put it in my mouth, but it didn't taste like anything so I spit it out.

Smart boy to spit out the feather...no good could possibly come out of eating one!

You look beautiful today, Tiny! Our human says that sitting in the sun and just looking at the garden is one of her favorite things to do (she doesn't chew feathers though - but she does bring them inside for us!)
Tiny, I think I would much prefer relaxing in the sunshine and tasting feathers instead of working!
Tiny, it's perfectly OK to just enjoy yoor garden ~ even gardening cats need a break sumtimes. And gardens are a great place to chillax, wiv the sunbeams, and nice smells and the occasional birdie or insect to watch. Enjoy.

You are so right about being entitled to a rest whenever it strikes your fancy. We're only two years old but claim the same right. The ticking of your furs looks especially interesting and beautiful in these pictures. Enjoy your garden!
