Tiny's Tuesday - chasing the sun

Summer went by too fast...as of today it is officially FALL!! I still want to laze in the sun like I did in the summer (but then again, I want to laze in the sun ALL YEAR LONG!), but now,whenever I find a nice sunny spot and get all relaxed in it, THE SUN MOVES!! Example: I found this really a good spot; it was so good I even had to defend it against Lautrec taking it over...but then...the sun moved...so I guess I must, too...just a few feet to my left....

Thursday Gardening!!

OK, even though Tiny and I are members of SOFG*, I admit that this week we didn't get much ACTUAL gardening done. BUT!! I did do A LOT of air control. I am happy to say that the air is just fine and has passed all the tests my very sensitive and discerning nose ran it through. In fact, my node (a.k.a. nose) tells me that Summer is on the way out and Fall is well on its way in. Not only did my node pick up strong traces of dry leaves in the air, but also mushrooms, moss and rain...ah, and apples, plums and walnuts. Uh-hmm. I have the node of a bloodhound!!

Mom keeps complaining that we didn't have a very long summer, but I have to say that I'm kinda liking this Fall-like weather we are having...I love to lay in dry leaves (yes, we already have leaves falling!) - they smell so good!! And I really enjoy the warm sunlight....ahhh, life is good!!
