Tiny's Tuesday

I could just call this post 'Wordless Tuesday', but I'm not one known for my silence so I will tell you that I love this old tree...would you believe that it is about 150 years old? Yep, 10 times older than me! It is a Linden tree and Mom dries the flowers to make tea...I don't like the tea myself, but I can tell you that when this huge tree is in flower, you would think there is a freeway overhead because of all the bees buzzing around!! When they are, we have to be careful, because sometimes the bees get so drunk on the flowers that they fall to the ground and if they aren't careful, we or the humans walk on them or worse, the ants attack them! Aie!! But for now, there are no flowers on the my tree yet (yes, it is my tree...I have marked it with my claws!) so I can peacefully take a nap snuggled up to it's big, fat trunk.

What a magnificent Elder! (The tree, of course!) Our human loves trees, she's a bit of tree-hugger, will stand beside an Elder Tree and put her hands on it and feel its energy. Okay, so she's a bit (?) strange, but hey, she's good for opening cans of stinky goodness and treat bags.

Take very good care of your Tree, Tiny; it's something special!

P.S. We think drunk bees must be hilarious to see. MOL!

Hi Tiny,
You look so peaceful under that big old tree. There's nothing like a nice nap in the fresh air.

Tiny what a peaceful picture of you under the Linden tree. I'm not familiar with their bloom but I'll going to research it.

Wow! What a great tree!!! Can your Mom take a picture of the drunk bees?

We saw over at Remingtons that you want one of the shelter stamps. We would be happy to send you one, we just need your address. You can send it to:
