The Wood's Wednesday

Hi there!! Waddya think? I whined a bit about having to wear hand-me-downs (see last Friday's post) so Mom made this jacket JUST FOR ME!! It has fleece on this inside (from the same fleece sweatpants that Mom made that ugly sweater thing from) and rain/wind-proof fabric on the outside PLUS reflective stripes. And, I should be able to wear it for a while since she made it so even if I get bigger it will fit. OK, so it is far from perfect, but hey, it sure beats that funky green tube with holes in it that I was wearing before (which, BTW, smelled like CAT....ICK!). Snow? No problem!!

Tiny's Tuesday

Today it's MY TURN to be crabby.

Crabby, crabby, crabby.

Get this: because there is so much snow outside and it is really cold, The Wood doesn't go out much so Mom has to 'entertain' him inside which means she spends less time with Lolo and I AND she lets The Wood come into OUR room and sleep on OUR couch.

BUT NOT ONLY THAT!! Mom even throws HIS BALL into OUR ROOM and he comes racing into OUR ROOM to fetch it (which usually happens when I am in a deep sleep). Imagine how you would feel if you are lost in dream land and suddenly you are awakened by The Wood barreling straight towards you! Well, it happens to me and every time it scares the heebie-geebies outta me!!

So because of the snow I can't get my beauty sleep!

I want Spring!!

AND I want that dang dawg OUT OF OUR ROOM...NOW!!

FOREVVVVVVUUUURRRRR!!

Lolo Lundi /Lolo Monday

I AM NOT HAPPY.

NOPE. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

OUTSIDE IT IS SUPER COLD AND THERE IS A LOT OF SNOW.

I DON'T LIKE WINTER. I DON'T CARE IF CHRISTMAS IS IN THE WINTER.

I WANT SPRING.

NOW.

(Yeah, I know I don't have to go outside, but I still needa moan about the cold because it means there is no grass for me...I want my fresh grass...when I don't have it, I get crabby. Can you tell?)

Flashback and Fast-forward Friday

Friday...what a good day for a comparison...today's comparison is brought to you via a 'flashback' and a 'fast-forward'. Normally, I would never allow myself to be compared with The Wood in any way, but, well, you'll see...

FLASHBACK (6 December 2009): Here are pictures of me wearing that warm, but really not very nice looking fleece sweater that Mom made for me from the leg of an old pair of warm-up pants.

FAST-FORWARD (3 December 2010): Here is Ellwood wearing that same fleece sweater yesterday in all the snow that we have. You know what, The Wood is totally welcome to my sweater just as long as nobody makes ME go out in ALL THAT SNOW!! No, no, no, no, NO!!

Thankful Thursday

I have so much to be thankful for...good food, a warm bed, great toys and family that loves me. Speaking of family, I want to introduce you to some of my extended family...you know, cousins, nieces and nephews.

First we'll start off with Jara...she is my 'cousin'...I like Jara, but she doesn't like me...I don't know why. I keep hearing the word 'jealous' when people talk to her (they say 'Jara, don't be jealous, he's just a baby!'). Every time I see Jara I try really hard to get her to like me, but she only growls at me. What's a boy to do??

And look at this!!! Yep!! Real live birds!! Are these also my cousins?? All 9 of them? They live with Jara and boy are they talkative! Jara also has a sister-cat named Julia, but I don't have a picture of her. Would you believe that Jara, Julia and all 9 birds live in peace in the same house??

And, well, best of all, here is my niece Anezka (well, she is Mom's niece by marriage so I figure she is also my niece, right?). Anezka LOVES me!! Anezka is CRAZY ABOUT ME!! She loves me and hugs me and plays with me and gives me great things to eat. I think I also love Anezka!!

But there is also my nephew Ferda who loves me. He and I have a great time chasing each other around his house and what is really great is that he is a not tall like all the other beans so it is easier for me to reach up and lick his face!! haha!! I love to surprise lick bean faces!! Ferda has a brother - his name is Albert and Albert loves me, too, but this day that I was visiting them Albert had some of his friends over so he didn't have much time to play with me, but I know he loves me.

I am so lucky and so thankful for my extended family that loves me so and that I also love....Anezka, Albert and Ferda; Jara, Julia and all 9 birds!!! I'm so lucky!!!

The Wood's Wednesday

Remember when I could spread out on the chair and still have room leftover..?

Now look at me...Mom and Dad are going to have to buy me a new chair!!

Mom says I'm growing in front of her eyes...I say Mom is not as big as she used to be.
