We have lots to be thankful for, but today we want to say that we are thankful for the nature that surrounds our home. Every season has its charm and through Mom's eyes, we (since we don't leave the house much) are able to enjoy the Winter in our 'neighbourhood'.

We are ALWAYS thankful for our sweaterbeds (yes, that is Lautrec's head you see sticking out from under Mom's sweater on the lower right side of the picture!)

And OF COURSE...bird tv!!!

And last but far, far from least....we are thankful for all our friends.

Friday Frenzy

I, me, Ellwood just wanted to show them to the rest of you because I imagine that this is how you humans must feel when your Fridays come. I mean, I bet when your weekends finally arrive you just want to party...and that is what I was doing in this field...having an Ellwood party which for me means running around like a major goofball!! I love doing this!! But I think you can tell, right?

The Wood's Wednesday - My new friend!!

I AM SUCH A LUCKY DAWG!!

Not only did Mom get me a new bed (covered with flowers!) she also got me a new friend!

Meet Barney Bear...he is my new friend!!

I love Barney!!

Barney is a dawg's best buddy, he goes everywhere I want him to go and when he is with me, he stays with me and never wanders off; he plays with me (rather, he lets me swing him around by his ears or his paws); he listens to me when I talk to him and he sleeps whenever I do. Barney is the best!!

PeeEss: since these pictures were taken, I've chewed so much on Barney's ears that they have become slobbery points...now Barney looks like he has horns instead of ears!! haha!

Tiny's Tuesday - SHEZDABADMOM

Yeah, you read that right: SHEZDABADMOM. Why? Because would you look at what time it is and ONLY NOW is she helping me with this post? What? Taking the Wood for a walk is more important?? PAAAALEEEEZE!! Why is it the men around here are so dang needy?

Well, until I hear a good (and I mean GOOD) answer to that question, I will just move on to a more interesting subject....ME.

Can you see me? I bet not...just my four paws and a blur. That's because I'm fast when I want to be. I am also known as 'Blurrcat'. Really! Don't laugh!! I can move at warp speed.

I slowed down to earth speed so that you can see me...hello!!

Well, a little known fact is that when we are in the country house, I spend a lot of time in the upstairs bathroom because there is a really warm place there and it is high up just in case the Wood thinks he wants to come wandering in. Sometimes, though, I jump down from that high place...usually when Mom comes into the room, so that I can ask for food. Alright, so maybe Mom isn't all that bad...she did move our food and food dish to the upstairs bathroom so that Lolo and I can eat in relative peace. (Lolo has a sweaterbed in a basket next to the radiator in the same bathroom). How lucky are we??

THIS IS BLACKMAIL!!

The snow is nearly all gone and yesterday the sun was out in a beautiful blue sky so I decided to take my first outside stroll of the new year. First, I checked out the upper garden then I wandered into the forest to the broken down deer feeder a.k.a. my favourite outside toilet.

There I was just minding my business while having the pleasure of doing some 'business' au naturelle when PAFF! the flashy beast found me!!

Can't a guy have a bit of privacy?? Does the pawparazzi always have to spoil such wonderful moments?

...is a WOMANCAT.

What am I talking about? Well, Lautrec and I were happily lounging (as we always do), when along came The Wood into OUR room. As you know, we two felines are not Wood Fans, so naturally, we gave him the eye...maybe not our worst or most menacing eye, but the eye nevertheless. Unfortunately, The Wood was not deterred.

I decided to stay put and ignore the canine beast, but big, furr-oh-shus Mancat Lolo immediately had to come and hog his way in next to me so that I....ME...TINY...could protect him from any Wood advances. Mancat? Paaahhhleeeeeeze!!

Girl power is NOT a myth!

Enough!!

What is with that dang flashy beast?? Seriously!! First it has to catch Lolo smack in the middle of doing his cello work, then me...I was just coming to say 'hello' when suddenly 'FLASH!!' and all I could see were stars!!

I've had it with the flashy beast...I am no longer cooperating. Nope.

I'm just going to turn my back and lay down. Take that!!
