Tuesday Takeover

Yep. Don't bother disagreeing.

Proof of our badness was found...by Mom!! (oops!)

Well, actually, just ONE of us is bad, but we aren't saying which one.

So since neither of us is talking, we BOTH got busted yesterday and OOOUUUUCCCH! Mom hurt us in our soft spot...THE COMPUTER. As punishment we weren't allowed to play on the computer all day and that is why we are only here today. What did we do? Well, ONE of us horribly tortured a lizard without killing it. Mom found the thing dying IN THE HOUSE and she started to cry because she knew she should kill it, but didn't have the heart to. Seeing Mom cry made us feel really bad, nevertheless, since neither of us would own up to the bad action, we were both grounded for a day from the puter.

Not having use of the computer, I decided to do the next best thing: sleep

(in Mom's arms...she may be mad at us, but she does still love us!!).

Afterall, me; I, Lolo, have no problems sleeping.

Tiny, on the other hand, seemed a bit restless. Never fear!! In good brotherly manner, I offered to takeover Tiny's Tuesday post for her...just this week. Nothin' much is happenin' new here...the flowers are growing, the birds are singing like crazy, the bugs are buzzin' and Mom spends all her time in the garden doing WHAT, I DON'T KNOW!

Me, I've taken on the very serious responsibility of making sure that the sun is visiting all the corners of the house. Here I am on 'sun duty'....showing the sun how to walk down stairs...just like my shadow is doing. It is just too eerie how the sun always manages to find my shadow!!! I sure would like to understand how it does it!!

Tiny's Tuesday - sun puddles in bed

One way I know that Spring is here without even getting out of bed is when the sun comes and sits with me while I am still in bed...this never happens in the Winter. Spring makes me lazy!! I think I'll work on my tan a little longer...yawn....

Sunny Saturday

We have been soaking up all the sun that comes through our windows. Tell me, what is there not to love about sun puddles and sun baths!! Lautrec and I keep nice and clean because each day when the sun caresses us, we go into cleaning mode and get our furrs all spiffy clean!! We are sooo good!!

Speaking of baths, Mom showered Ellwood today because due to the lack of rain (yes, rain is not all bad), the streets here are just icky dirty and since young Master Ellwood likes to not just piddle against walls and posts, but to rub against them before doing his piddle, well, he was just getting downright stinky so into the shower he went!! Afterwards he was all white again and was fluffy and full of energy! I think he actually liked getting all wet!! Of course, Mom does towel dry him off when he gets out then he runs around the house like a mad dawg and rubs himself all over his bedding and his blankets. He's a mega-goofy dog! (I might 'SAY' that, but I sure don't want him to think I am his friend now...nope, that dang dawg better just stay away from me!)

Hangin' Out

Sunshine, Mom, love, food.....we've got it all...including warm, sunny places to hang out. What more can a kitty want? We're so glad we are us. We welcome visitors...come on over and hang out with us if you want!

Spring in the City & the Country

Yesterday, I went out on our city terrace (ok, our balcony!!) for the first time this year!! We've had such cold weather until now that we didn't even want to put our noses outside...but today I managed to put my whole self outside long enough to take a peak and a big sniff of Spring. I didn't stay long out there because Mom told me I had to come in because it was time to go the country house. As always, we both hated the 1 hour ride in the car, but when we got here we realised it was soo worth it because the weather was great! In fact, it was so nice we spent at least an hour outside just checking our favourite areas of the garden, eating grass and soaking up the sun.

That's me there in the lower-right of this pic and if you look closely, you can see Tiny there in the upper left. Tiny blends in really well doesn't she? I say she is catouflaged. After all that fresh air, snoopin' around and eating grass (even if it was sad, old, dry last year's grass it still tasted good!) we were thoroughly exhausted and slept like dogs!! Now we are ready for more of the same today!! Woooo hooo!

Shadow Watchin'

We are here in our city home which means we don't have the blue tile stove to 'melt' onto, but we do have the nice warm parquet...and THE SUN...well, sometimes we have the sun. I like to sit in the sun and watch my shadow move...it's really cool because I hold REAL STILL and it moves all by itself!! Tiny thinks I'm crazy so she says 'watch, my shadow moves, too' then she gets up and turns around and looks back at me and says 'see? my shadow moves, too!'.

Will we ever see eye-to-eye?

We are sooo looking forward to some happenin' BIRTHDAY PARTIES today...there's one for Ernie over at The Island Cats and for Sadie at Kattatonic Cats and for brother and sister King and Pandora at The Kool Kittie Krew ...all of them are celebrating so be sure to stop by and wish each of them happy birthday! And, of course, Madi at Popourri in NC had her birthday a couple of days ago, but you can still go wish her Happy 8!!

Tiny's Tuesday

OK, I'm going to tell you right away that I am NOT into yoga...any yoga... be it Lolo yoga or any other kind. But! I am very zen. I like zen moments. I especially like zen moments in the sun. Zen moments in the sun on the carpet or on a chair...up in the attic where the light is really good. Yeah, those are the best moments...Tiny's Zen Moments. (I'm smiling.)
