The Wood's Wednesday - Another Flashback

Yep, me again here on my regularly scheduled day (I think Lolo said he will post tomorrow so for those of you who are having Lolo withdrawals, don't worry, he's just fine and will be here tomorrow).

I thought you might enjoy another flashback since I seem to be growing all the time and it is hard to notice unless you can compare so here you are...

Oh!!! There is SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT I must to tell you so listen up!! You know how yesterday Tiny was saying that she plans on having a surprise pawty for Lautrec for his 12th birthday? Well, would you believe that about 2 weeks ago (to be exact on 4 December) Tiny had her 16th birthday and SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PAWTY! So, here is what I think...I think that while Tiny is preparing a surprise pawty for Lautrec, I will prepare a surprise pawty for Tiny ON THE SAME DAY!!! What do you think? It's going to be a really big bash...double trouble...the mama of all pawties!! So if you haven't already marked the 22 December pawty on your calendar, do so now...this is gonna be fuuuuuunnnnuh!! Same rules apply: SSSSHHHHHHH!!

...how big The Wood is getting?

I have a hard time believing that he has been living with us for almost - ALMOST - 2 months already...is it possible?

In that first picture, I look big next to tiny Ellwood. Just after the second picture was taken, I sCATted off the couch in haste...that guy just makes me nervous...I don't care if Mom says that he won't do anything...I don't trust him. Nope, not at all.

Flashback Friday

For 'Flashback Friday' I found a picture of me that was taken exactly a year ago today. Because I am known for being delicate in the cold weather, Mom was trying to figure out how to make me some kind of a sweater. This was her first try. My clever Mom cut off the sleeve of one of her old sweaters then pulled the thing over my head. Great, Mom....I look like a SAUSAGE!!

It didn't get much better after this, I assure you. In fact, it got worse so don't even ask me to show you....that kind of humiliation is bad enough the first time around... I couldn't handle having the whole CB laughing at me the second time!

I DO have my pride you know!!

Flashback Sunday

It's flashback Sunday so I've dug out a picture of us when we were supermodels. Yep, that is me there in the middle of that cat tree above...and down at the bottom is Tiny...and up on top is Red, Tiny's son (sadly, Red was killed several years ago by a car). A friend of ours is a photographer for a mail-order catalogue in Switzerland (where we used to live before moving here) so we were often asked to model various cat gadgets and toys...as you can see here we are modelling cat trees!! I was only about a year old at the time, that's why I look so small!! In the picture below, it is just me and Red (Tiny didn't want to be photographed that day...she said something about having a bad fur day...whatever that means!)...it was fun, but kinda scarey to be in front of all those lights and in a strange place.
