Gardening Thursday

MAN-OH-MAN-OH-MAN! I AM HOPPING MAD!! MOM FORGOT TO PUSH THE 'PUBLISH POST' BUTTON!!
(She claims that she meant to, but needed to add a few things like a link to Jonesie's blog and all that, but didn't have time yesterday and now..nothing!! Now, in a last-ditch effort, we are posting 'as is'...sorry!!)

And here we are: Thursday which means - time to go back to visit our vegetable patch!! Look how everything has grown...or have I shrunk...again??!

Just to refresh your memory, I'm including a 'before' picture, too.

NOW

BEFORE

Look how those little flowers are growing!! Aren't they cute?

We have lots of tiny cucumbers already, but I'm still waiting for some of the squashes and pumpkins to get going...whenever that will be!! I'll, of course, keep you posted!!

Mom thinks that it is really important to let certain wild flowers grow so that all the birds and the butterflies are happy...they must be because there are sooo many butterflies and bees flying around (and also bumblebees!). I kinda stay away from them because bees REALLY don't like to be bothered...I learned that a long time ago and I'll never forget THAT lesson!! On the other paw, I would love to play with the butterflies, but mom strictly forbids that kind of fun....darn.

Aw, your human is a spoilsport, Lolo - butterflies look like they'd make the best cat toys!

Your mom doesn't let you play with butterflies? What good is that? I mean, really!

Hi Lolo! Wow! Your garden is very lush -- and soon to bear fruit (so to speak -- we know they are veggies).

I adore wildflowers and I agree with your Mom. The more natural, the better!

By the way, did you ever see Tiny on the LOLSpot for last Saturday?
