OK, so we were sitting there quietly minding our business when suddenly the door to our garden opens and in come running two big copper coloured snoopin' dogs!! Me, I took off around the corner of the house and was not to be found for a while. Tiny, the brave and mighty lady, stood her ground, but when the moment presented itself, she ran inside. So who were those dogs and where did they come from? Well, Dad's brother and his family came to visit us and brought their Scottish Terriers! I must be honest and say that they are actually kinda neat dogs...they don't bark, but they just check things out and they don't insist if you tell them to back off. Irena, who is the mom to Jarka, is even into things that I am....like food!! Would you believe that right away she found our bisquit tin, opened it and pulled out the bag of bisquits that was inside! My kind a dog pal!! Too bad I was still shakin' in my boots or I would have gone and helped her chew a bigger hole in the bag - I'm sure she would have shared the booty with me as a 'thank you' for my help (even if the bisquits were MINE to begin with)!
After the humans had their meal, they went for a walk in the woods, - without us - but with Irena and Jarka. Check out these pictures...dogs are funny!!!! Actually, I think I could consider liking dogs after meeting these two. They did make themselves right at home, but they weren't in our faces at all and they were kinda funny. Hmmm, uhh-oh! Does this mean I am getting soft with old age??

Well! We agree, for dogs they don't look too bad! Any dog that helps open the food bag is a winner in our book.
Were you able to come out and say hello at all or were you in Deep Hiding the entire time?
Our Purrs to Irena, that her cancer can be cured.
They look like sweet doggies, and we're sending purrs to Irena, too.
We thought Scottish terriers were *small* dogs, though! We were expecting the cute little ones--maybe there is a difference between North American Scottish and European? Inquiring minds want to know! :-)
They are pretty cute woofies, and all of our paws are crossed for Irena.
Those are 2 very nice woofies! We are sending purrs for Irena.

We is sorry to hear of Irena's cancer. We hopes she continues to be able to run and plays as long as she can... even if she is a doggy.

He guys! Are you SURE they're Scottish terriers? They don't look anything like Scotties, either in size or colouring (always black or sometimes white)!
Dogs are curious too!! I never encounter dogs before, so I don't know :) But these two doggies look so adorable. Irena in my prayers, definitely, hope everything will be fine :)
