Furr-oh-shus Friday

It's been soooo long since you've seen a 'badtat' 'furr-oh-shus' video of me that I thought you might enjoy one. Just remember, it isn't how you win that counts, it's who gets the desired spot that REALLY matters!!

Love and smooches to you all, Lolo(ve)

Furr-oh-shus Friday

First of all, I'd like to say BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO!! I think you were all...well NEARLY ALL (I'll forgive my doggie friends since all cats probably look the same if you are looking through a dog's eyes)...pretty alert on that Thursday Quiz I threw at you and I have to say that everyone (who tried) did astoundingly well. In all honesty though, only Daisy and Malyss were exactly right...that is to say...they said that I am in pictures B and D. (I know, F really looks like me, but nope...it isn't!! Toughie!!) Yep, that's my FurMom Amanda in the rest of them. Everyone was right though when they said that since she is my furr Momma, there's a bit of me in all of those pictures!!

OK, bean Mom just spent several HOURS trying to help me download a 37-second video (of me) and Blogger didn't want to work (any helpful suggestions would be most appreciated!!)...she was nearly pulling her hair out!! Since I was determined to have something for today's post, I've gone with a good ol' standby...me, Lautrec, I, being furr-oh-shus...or sort of...here, as you can see, I just walked up to Tiny and kinda gave her a furr-oh-shus look and she got up and left. Hey! I didn't want her spot (this time), I was just checkin' to see if I still have the tough, mancat (non)touch!! Ha! I do, I do, I do!!

Furr-oh-shus Friday

I figure it's important that every now and then I remind you of my furr-oh-shusness, so what better time to do so than today?

As everyone knows, Tiny is really good at finding great sleeping spots. I'm just average at this, so instead of counting on my skills, I just wait and see where Tiny goes, then I go and tell her to get off so that I can sit in the place that she has just warmed up (for me...hahaha!). Today is no exception...see how happy and cozy she looks there? The first step for me is to go up to her to make sure she is looking content with her choice, then I decide on the best strategy for the 'takeover' (also known as the 'thieving').

As always, a take-over begins with an annoying sniff, which does not always cause an immediate reaction, but it does announce the beginning of a challenge...

Experience has taught me that being below your opponent is not always the best strategy in a non-hostile (I am not hostile!) takeover because when I am lower than Tiny, she has more strength AND gravity helps her out, too. So today, I have opted to be somewhere higher than she is. (Aren't I so clever?)

The first move is a gentle nudge...

And here she comes with her wap-wap-wap, but I've predicted this and have moved far enough away (and since I am above her and behind plants, she has an extra difficult time getting to me - haha!).

...and again a gentle nudge...

....and another wap-wap-wap...

...and she's gone!!

And now the spot is MINE!
...oh, she looks like she found another good spot there...hmmm, maybe I should go for that one now...

A Predictable Finish

I think we all know how this will finish...
Yep.

Furr-oh-shus Friday II (on video)

It's FURR-OH-SHUS Friday: now on video!
I am one BAD cat...don't even THINK of messin' with me!!
WARNING: this is a REALLY SCAREY VIDEO!!

WE'VE BEEN TAGGED!!
On Tuesday, the Kool Kitty Krew tagged us for a picture share game.

These were their instructions:

1. Open the first photo folder of photos of you
2. Scroll down to the 10th photo
3. Post the 10th photo and tell the story about it:
4. Pass this along to 5 other blogs...

This picture was taken of us on our 'balcony' in our city home. We don't have a garden to go out to in the city (we have one in our country house) so Dad made us this 'balcony' on the window...there is a big, soft blanket on it and in the morning the sun shines on it (in Spring and Summer). We love it. There is also a tree RIGHT THERE so sometimes there are even birdies visiting us..well not US, but it seems like they are!!

We now tag the following fuurrends:
